Reverse thread bolts for after market mirror mounting (source)

Our bike mirrors use reverse thread M10 1.25 mirror stems on both sides.
The Puig mirrors I ordered are supplied with a left hand thread stainless bolt for the right mirror but not the left. No problem you say? Just buy a bolt you say? Impossible to find!
Actually I found this kit
It has 35mm and 55mm 10M 1.25 left hand bolts.
The Puig are 45mm so I'll cut the 55mm down to size.

I made an extension for left side mirror. If you move the small extension, has right hand threads on end, and left hand inside for mirror, so didn't need any left hand stuff. The extension was piece of aluminum with holes, bolt went back into bracket, then nut held mirror extension

I removed both extensions (L+R). They are both right hand threads. Since both new mirrors have R hand bolts included it solved my problem. Thank you!

I initially bought some left handed stuff. Then found out on NT UK site that the short chrome stems came out of the handlebar bracket. Puzzle solved. Didn't know those short stubby things came out
