Addendum: I am home now with a keyboard. Here are the events as they happened. It was raining pretty hard so I stopped, parked my bike in a proper site, and noticed these people. I thought to myself, I have never seen this type of entitled behavior in 60 years....there was no hail, for instance.
I went inside and did my business and when I came out of my little room, the rest area attendant came over to me quite upset. She thanked me for parking my bike properly and told me when she informed those three that it was against the rules to ride/drive on the pedestrian walkway and would they please move their bikes back to the road, they told her, "Call the Police" and laughed at her.
I asked if they spoke with an accent and she said no, they were just rich entitled Harley owners (HER words) I felt bad she was bullied and I can see why she might be scared to call the state patrol, who were probably too busy to worry about this anyway.
(I had another Pirate actually talk to me at a gas pump I was using WHILE SMOKING. )
