I went to the Spokane Motorcycle show out of curiousity to see how it had changed. I hadnt been there for years. And to talk with the state trooper motor units, one of which I worked with.
Here is my impression.
35 + new Indian motorcycles. Not my cup of tea but still....
bucket fulls of Harleys, custom or not. Lots of old guys walking around with black vests with Harley patches. Lots of Harley oriented booths.
Good supply of Triumps and BMWs
Some Yamahas and Hondas...nothing to wet my appitite. Kawasakis too.
No Suzukis. There is a suzuki dealer in town. No Urals or Royal Enfields. Some Chineese bikes, I think.
Of all the bikes, this is the only one I would bring home. Looks like a left over.

This bike wins the uglybutt contest.

This bike wins the nostalgia award, although there were some nice Whizzers there also.

I dont need to go again next year. Very few if any sport touring bikes. About zero general purpose bikes like the NT700. Even the 700 CC Tenera is way too tall, as are many bikes there.
