While I was on the Epic Ride, I fell onto my tent a couple of times at night. ("Grace" is not my middle name.) The two falls bent four sections of tent poles on my REI HalfDome-4.
I called REI to see if I could get the poles repaired or buy replacements and they told me they didn't do repairs or sell replacements. I was shocked...until they told me that they recommended a company who could do those things for me.
The company is Tentpole Technologies (tentpoletechnologies.com). I went to their website, downloaded a form, filled it out and mailed my poles to then last Thursday. The poles got there yesterday and this morning, they called me and said that the poles were fixed and were ready to ship. That's the fastest turnaround I've ever had on a repair.
Plus their cost was extremely reasonable: $35 including shipping.
They have my highest recommendation.
