I heard that it was so cold this year that all the ticks froze and the ones that didn't freeze were washed away in all the flooding!

Made sure the boss knew I was going to be gone again for a while. The Boss already knew. Week out now...
 
Since I foolishly sold my NT a few months ago, I am planning on riding my new-to-me Suzuki Bandit. NT riders, prepare to eat my dust, bwa ha ha!!! Oh, uh, 120 miles and my low fuel light is flashing. Guys, can we stop please?
 
Kind of hard to get excited about riding with this s___ (stuff).

NoVa Chris - lucky for you the loops are both under 200 miles with 1 or 2 opportunities to stop for fuel. :)

About 8" of snow last night when I went to bed. Snowed all night and woke up to 6" of very wet heavy snow. Broke my snow shovel this AM. Power was not last night. But it WILL melt.

I finished the modifications to my wheel chock and bought the hardware to mount it on my trailer. Keeping an eye on the forecast for next week in the Cairo WV area and route to there. I'm prepared to "cheat" by trailering the first 650 miles. I'd love to ride, but I'm not going to travel 2,000 miles to ride in lousy weather for two days. I can do that here. So, for now, I plan to go but it will be a last minute decision based on weather.
 
Around here the issue is rain, storms, & maybe some flooded roads with a new front every 3 days or so.
Your snow, that is a whole different deal. Spring will come eventually.

Maybe! And maybe not. Snowing here in Greeley today. S'posed to get into the 70s on Sunday.

Well, the road going south of me has been overtopping with water all spring (or whatever this season is).

Phil, your snow will probably be gone before mine. But in the high country I'm sure you still have plenty.

And, for Coyote Chris, the ticks are out in full force - snow or no snow.

You have it made Chris. I plan stops approx. every hour for people with back or leg issues and for restroom breaks. And some of those are gas stations.
