Serious question. I've not had tires with this tread pattern before. Hard for me to see wear bars on this tire. I have a new one ready to go. Is this one ready for the dump?20260228_085219.jpg

... - how does it look?
From European, legal POV offensive enough to prohibit further use of the vehicle right on the spot and confiscation of your license plate... 😉
Our min thread dept is 1.6mm (1/16th"), so when those TWI's start to 'surface' its urgently time for new ones...
Aside the legal ramifications due 'not roadworthy condition', is also any insurance liability nil and void...

Besides crappy water drainage, will cupping and wear pattern also impact cornering and handling...

Why the uneven wear?
- road crest
- better road visibility in left turns (vs reduced in right ones)

This is what I'm not seeing on this tire - tire wear indicators.

The grooves almost criss cross in center, and there gone, so short trips ok, not long rides. And that nail right there???? If you have a bandsaw with metal cutting blades, cut across tire to reveal tire thickness will show you cross section. If riding much more, there is usually a different color of rubber that starts to appear, that's when it gets dangerous

I have the new tire - will see how much easier it is to drop the rear wheel with my side case modification.
