Few of these available on auction sites - new bearings and seals and about 5% the cost of a new pump. My pump has developed a steady drip from the weep hole under the pump indicating that the seal has gone - done 90K miles in 17 years so not too bad and clearly needs sorting. Any one tried to repair the pump - not obvious how to take it apart - presume heat impeller and see if it can be pulled off and then press out seals and bearings. Could be beyond my limited workshop facilities so will probably buy a new one, but curious to know if anyone has had a go!

Eyeballing those as well...
From the looks it seems similar procedure as on the ST1100 w/pump...
Its a delicate process, best done gently with an hydraulic shop press, don't deform the cast pump housing, don't overheat... and don't touch the ceramic ring with bare fingers, in fact keep it sterile...
I've already build a jig for my ST1100 pumps from a piece of PVC tubing (pool filter tech supply), you'd need to create similar for the NT pump case...

This might give a direction/some ideas:

Been a while with a combination of holidays and a cold garage as primary excuses. Removed the old seals (hard and brittle using essentially brute force and ignorance, smoothed the shaft, cleaned everything up and simply refitted the new parts using a few sockets and a vice. Fitted back on the bike, topped up lubricant and oil and seems fine so far - only about an hour and 40+ miles of mixed speeds but (so far!!) no leaks and no sign of oil and coolant mixing.... Will try to post some pictures, but at cost of around £14 delivered vs new pump at £280 from UK Honda it is definitely worth a go!
