OX 5 v8. It's a push/pull rod

Interesting, but it didn't seem to catch on.
Hard to tell for sure, but they all seem to be in the same position. A multi cylindrical thumper?

I keep thinking about the idiot that put the JATO on his motorcycle and rode it into a rock wall. Not well thought out at all.

I think he just had a noise maker. Those little turbines are expensive. Out of the mountains headed for Butte.

Night air show, 18 min finally, now on youtube. 8 hours ago, a major storm hit OSH with tornados 15 miles north. Me glad to be in Butte.

Ya, me too. We both had our chance and even arranged to meet there, but subsequently (and independently) changed our minds. Both of us thought that camping at 9,000 feet in subfreezing temperatures with high winds was a bad plan. So I camped at the Best Western in Casper WY instead.

Maybe next year. Or maybe this year. I'm considering a trip out west to visit a couple friends in MT (one in Poplar and one in Hamilton).

There is a free app called Windy dot com. It has good present and future smoke forecasts. Bit of a learning curve but not bad.

Even funnier when he started it up and rode off. The engine must be some sort of speaker with recorder sound effect. It sounded like a jet (or maybe a powered air cart to start a jet).

RE: Wisconsin tornados: At Oshkosh, the museum is the shelter for severe weather. They are not going to fit tens of thousands there, nor is there anyway to evacuate all of the campers and RVs.

Tornado Plan B: Get in you car/vehicle with air bags. Belt in tight and start the engine so the airbags will deploy if you go for a ride. (Not kidding!)
I would add: "Bring a beer. You have never done this before." (This part is a joke ... maybe.)
