Where to mount twin horns!

I have a pair of louder horns coming to me. Normal size bell horns. Where do y'all think a good place to mount them would be?

I put mine on the inside of the tipover wings. I used zip ties to hold them in place. I did over 100,000 miles like that no problem.

two things: I won't buy an air horn and I won't spend that kind of money on a horn.

Horns arrived. In the morning, I will see how loud they are and, if acceptable, get to work mounting them.

Same project on my GF's NT...
After observing that a set of proper horns on my ST1100 does scare away those inattentive drivers, she wants her upgrade...

Snail type two-tone fail due space reasons, so I opted for "classic" two-tone:

Compared to the OEM "Road Runner" thingy still kinda large... we'll see how to fit them (without having to remove the entire Tupperware... again... )

coil parallel from the OEM horn wiring, fused, large gauge supply to the horns from the battery...

My go-to loud horn for compact mounting requirements is the dual tone. Wolo Bad Boy, Stebel Nautilus, Denali Soundbomb, no-name eBay clones.

Seven years ago, I faced a similar challenge, and after some digging, I discovered the perfect spot to mount the horns behind the bodywork on the front fairing's tubular support frame. To secure them, I used the horn's flat mounting tabs and attached them with a hose clamp—simple but effective! I also crafted a custom relay harness that connected directly from the battery to the horns. Now, with a horn mounted on each side, my setup packs a punch!
