I sure do wish I could be there with you guys. I've got my fingers, eyes, arms, legs, and toes crossed -- I see the knee doc on Wednesday and I'm hoping he'll clear me to ride again.

Weather report is looking promising. I haven't been to this shindig; what do you characters plan to do?
I have a few routes mapped out that we can ride. We usually decide during either dinner the night before, or breakfast the day of, which loop we will do that day. I'm excited to put a few different roads in the mix so it will not be so familiar to those who have been attending a few years.
We often have everyone come to our campsites, which is within walking distance of the motel, and enjoy sitting around the fire and talking motorcycling.
PS; Anyone coming from out of the area who is not familiar with the roads and would like a suggested route, I'd be glad to work with you on it. PM me with the direction you are coming from.
The wx report that I'm looking at says Thur - 20%, Fri -AM showers 50%, Sat - scattered thunderstorms 40%, Sun - scattered thunderstorms 60%. I hope you are right and I am wrong. Either way I'll be there.
Totally agree with that. I'll bring my chair also. I rode over yesterday over to the other side of Dayton and then back east of Dayton and camped over night. Then did 7 hrs zig zagging my way back home today. That was awesome. First motorcycle camping this year.In regards to rain predictions, someone explained to me that for example a 50% prediction for rain means that somewhere in that general area, there is a 50-50 chance of rain falling and it may not be in Davis. I've ridden on days that had a 70-80% chance of rain and nary a drop fell on me!
