I will be there , Medical issues look good, doctor wished me a good ride to S. Dakota!! Grand daughter 's being able to come is still a major question, not on her part but a family issue! I am keeping my reservation at Motel, ( Bell"s ) regardless. I may have a Retired drive buddy there for a day or two depending on his schedual, He lives about 15 miles out of Custer and near a small community called Pringle. He rids a new Triumph.my plan is o arrive at Bell's on 9 July.

Still not sure whether I will ride HD or NT

Well now it looks like I'm "IN" for this year. Plan to arrive Wed PM and leave early Sat AM. (Got that Phil- "leaving EARLY) May be traveling with "Fossil" if we can hook up.

Phil, as slow as I ride I need to leave that early. I'm going to my high school buddy and college room mate's 50th wedding anniversary party in MI on Sunday. I haven't seen him in 40 years. Besides "Fossil" wants to attend a concert back home that weekend too.

CRUEL! I sorry...I still think its a compliment...sitting in the shade with Frosty at the Western inn...self medicating..life is good in the mountains. Helmet intercom worked great. Temp warm but not hot. Didnt have to use watervests. Tomarrow , Going to the sun road!
