Added some highway pegs. I was always interested in adding the mick-o-pegs to my NT, but I felt they were far too expensive for what they were. Adding pegs to a bike with an engine guard is MUCH simpler/cheaper. These parts I got from Rivco. I have 2" extenders in there which only come in chrome so I tried scuffing them up a bit and spray painting them black. I don't think I scuffed well enough - or I didn't spray very well as it bubbled a bit. I did a couple coats. If it wears away I'll sand them good and add more coats, but it's fine for now.

I actually don't find highway pegs comfortable for great lengths of time. I think the standard riding position is better. BUT...if my knees start to ache or I just need to stretch, they are perfect for this. Ride a couple miles, then return to normal and it seems to work great.

Actually, highway pegs, coupled with cruise control is an entirely different riding experience!
