Woo Hoo ! Will be on the road in a couple hours. See everyone there. Received a couple messages about camping. There is plenty of room camping. I only reserved 1 large site but the entire campground appears to be open. It's early season there so should be plenty of room according to the owner. Ride safe everyone.

You guys all have fun. I wouldn't want to be camping in the Black Hills this weekend -- it's rained for the last couple of days and is supposed to snow Saturday - Monday.

I just had a rear wheel bearing fail on my NT. But if my mechanic can get it fixed by tonight I might try to ride up to Davis West Virginia tomorrow.

great WILL,,,,,i will be leaving my house about noon Friday. going up I-77 till hwy 19, then taking hwy 20 most of the way, very scenic and have not been on mots of those roads. maybe see you there

David, have you replaced a rear wheel bearing yet? Seems like the upper 90K mileage is in the range for those things to fail. RUST and I both had them fail at about the same mileage.

I replaced both front and rear about 96K. Didn't fail or sound / feel bad. Just wanted before a problem and thought that was long enough.

As, no doubt, it was. I don't know if my rear bearings would have needed replacing when they did if the rear wheel hadn't gotten so hot when it was improperly lubed.

Thursday night in Davis and we just finished dinner at the Sawmill Restaurant. We had around 8 or 9 NTs in the parking lot.

When we arrived yesterday, there were only a few cars in the hotel parking lot. A few more pulled in last night but I doubt if the hotel is full. There is also another hotel in town so look at my 1st post for its name.

Photos will be forthcoming but the majority of the riders are at the campground. BobAgain is leaving early this morning.

Rustinpeace and Woodaddict arrived last night so our official NT count was up around 8 or 10? The campground is only about 1/4 mile from the hotel so Deb & I walked there after dinner and had a great time.

This is a great locale so many thanks to WVRider for suggesting Davis! If we do it again next year I'd suggest a few weeks later because this is still the off-season here.

Phil, I'm sill here. Me and Rustinpeace had an amazing ride separate after group ride. Did 3 highest points in 3 different states. Spruce Knob WV,,,Mt Davis,PA,,,and Backbone Mtn, MD. The tag game is ON

Oh and Phil.....Rustinpeace only needs about 250 miles for 100K
