OK, I think I am confusing avatar text with signature text. I managed to change my avatar but not the text underneigh it. The signature text is fine. Guess I need to find my map.

Chris, I think the text under your avatar picture comes from your profile automatically.

should be fixed now... just needed to click on your image in your post, then right click and capture the address - https://www.nt-owners.org/forums/attachments/states-provinces-final-2-jpg.15231/ and put that in your sig area between the img tags.
Mellow, I don't see a way to capture the address. I'm (trying) to attach a screen shot of what I saw when I right-clicked the image.
So, what should I have clicked on that menu?

What browser are you using?
MS Edge
Not the latest or greatest but they are are mine and I enjoy them all. Don’t ride them daily but can’t see parting with any of them.

You were still trying to post a link which means the file exists on some other site. You need to save the file to your pc, then upload it to THIS site like this:
