Tracer 900 GT - Initial review

Found a very nice cheap option ($13) for adding some Daytime Running Lights and additional Signal lights that looks promising... Thought about adding to the mirrors but decided to stick to the hand guards.. they have white/amber and red/amber in case you want to add more lighting to the rear. Very bright.

I put a pair of these on my v85tt as running light AND turn signal replacement, what's nice is the turn signal function works sequentially toward the turn, very impressive result and very bright. BTW beautiful bike there , that's a custom saddle I gather?

Yes, Corbin... I'm not a Corbin fan after the one I had for a very short time on the ST1300 a few years back but decided to give this one a try and it's easily a 1000 mile/day seat for me.

Is your Corbin hard? The only one I ever rode was back in '02 or '03 and I rode with it on my Connie for about 200 miles. It was really, really heavy, and EXTREMELY hard. People have always said that the Connie was a "buzzy" bike and I did occasionally notice some buzziness through the grips and the pegs, but the only time I ever noticed through the saddle was when I used that Corbin. By the time we finished the last 60 mile leg, my "manly" parts were asleep.

It's nothing like the one I had on my ST. This one is firm but not a rock like that previous one. Just did 250 miles today after not riding for months and the seat was a non issue.

Good! I still think I'll replace my old Russell Daylong heavy-duty suspension saddle that I've had since the fall of '10 with a new Russell instead of trying a Corbin. I am going to get Russell's new Sport saddle, which doesn't have a suspension. They say that after about 500 miles, it "settles" and should be the same height as the original stock saddle. We'll see about that.
