15th Nat'l NT Rally - Jun 18-21, 2025 - Spearfish, SD

Who is ready to rally! Kind of interesting, I asked some Japanese riders why they wear masks... they said to avoid sun/wind burn, exhaust fumes, and spreading makeup on the insides of helmets. 😷 Love the two inch soles on their boots.

Finding that SW Motech has discontinued my bag, I bought a cheap Chinese knockoff for a spare. I have to say it is a pretty close knockoff. They say 66L (snort) instead of an honest 35, but it's good to have a spare.

I have to say, I am impressed with the wild heart. I would say it's 8 L bigger than the Motech. For $55, I ordered another one.

I'm going to give it a go, though in a car again this year. I had a Watchman Device implanted in hearts left atrium last Wednesday. It plugs the left atrium appendage, which is where the vast, vast majority of blood clots develop from atrial fib. However I need to stay on Eliquis until I get a check (via a TEE) at the end of July. If all is well, and it should be, I will be discontinuing Eliquis and going to Plavix plus a baby aspirin. Even though I armor up like a turtle, including an airbag vest, I'm not comfortable riding with full dose Eliquis twice a day. I'll decide if I want to restart riding after I'm off it.
Anyway, I'll get in Wed. afternoon/evening if all goes well!
Well, Chris Campground had a camping cabin available so I will glamp this time! I'm looking forward to seeing you all again this year.

Hope all goes well, Ken! Old age isnt for sissies.....Would love to see you again. Whenever a doc or nurse asked for my medicine list, I whip out a full page of type written stuff and it scares them....actually, not a bad idea to take it along on trips. People may laugh at my packs, but I need one just for the meds! :rofl1: Drive safe

Wish I could be there but, but I can't leave the wife for more than a couple / three hours at a time. As I have posted in the past her disease (PSP) has progress to the point she is confined to a wheel chair and needs me to lift her in and out of it. You all have fun and be safe.

Ya, you usually have to pay for entertainment that good. 😊

Sorry we won’t see you Joe. Always fun to visit with you.
