Just thought I'd update on more Amazon fun.

So I sent back the All Balls Harley bearings I received, I'll call them item "Z". The original order was for All Balls Kit item "X". I initiated a return/replacement request through the website. I checked the "wrong item received" box and in a text block explained in detail what I actually received. Amazon sent a replacement item "X" which I received and was correct this time. I stopped by a Whole Foods and returned item "Z". Amazon received item "Z" and issued a refund of some sort.
Today I get an email saying I need to return item "X" , and what they got was an item "Y". If I don't return "X" by blahblah I'll be recharged in full. So I guess what happened is I ordered All Balls kit "X". Amazon's internal label they applied to it was for a kit "Y" , but the real # on the All Balls card All balls slipped in their package was for "Z". So Amazon thinks I sent back an item "Y", but in reality it's item "Z" as I described in detail in the text block.
For the life of me I could not find Amazon's phone number on Amazon's own website. I clicked everywhere even searching on Amazon for "Amazon customer support phone number". I had to get the number from a Google search. Anyway called and had to explain to a call center person what was going on. Supposedly is all good now?
