As long as you know in advance, it ain't no biggie, you just BYOB. Also, I forgot to mention, it is just 12 miles from Maggie Valley where the Wheels of the World museum is located. A must see if you are in the area.

YEP, the BYOB is the way to travel, a pint bottle takes up very little room. I carry most of the time and good enough quality that it can be taken straight, with ice, soda, or a water dilution. depending on how you are packed. The largest bottle of Canadian Mist is plastic and unbreakable, as are their pint bottle.

Not saying there is anything wrong with some good local brewing as long as it comes from a trusted source:smile:
Now for the beer drinkers your choice is a bit harder although I have it from a good source that a 12 or 18 pack will strap onto the passenger seat with a cargo net and can be carried there for at least twenty - some miles

Who ever is actually going to organize this has to pick a weekend, week, whatever. Put it out there and see who shows.

I think the 3rd weekend in May, Thursday to Sunday. If someone has a better time frame: speak up. I thinking Maryville, TN is the area, good motels and campgrounds around. Many good roads, and hopefully we get some people that have ridden in the area for routes.

I contacted Choice Hotels for group rates if I have some idea of number of rooms needed, I had to give a number so I said 10 rooms, and 20 people. Ten is the minimum for group rates. Once again, I have a 100 dogs (dog rescue), and do not take many long trips due to that fact. I will do what I can to make this happen, so lets decide if this is a go. If this is going to happen, some planning is needed, but no hand holding.
I also asked Princess Motel in Maryville for a rate quote.
