That is quite possible. It was a very slight ticking sound seems like it was coming from the front cylinder head, and its gone now. The original caps looks great, and I just don't see how it could be arcing through the rubber but its a pretty good issue if it is. The NGK caps look almost 100% identical, except the inside brass is different.
